Terms and Conditions for CPD Training at MMALABS

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training by Modern Medical Associates Ltd herein referred to us MMALABS, accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council-Ghana (AHPC) to professionals who enroll in the training programmes. By enrolling in any CPD training offered by MMALABS, you agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Registration and Enrolment

1.1. To enroll in a CPD training programme offered by MMALABS, professionals must complete the registration process as outlined on the MMALABS website or through designated registration channels.

1.2. By completing the registration process, professionals agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including but not limited to personal details, contact information, and professional qualifications.

1.3. MMALABS reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment in a CPD training programme if the professional fails to provide accurate information during registration or if they do not meet the eligibility criteria specified for the programme.

2. Payment and Fees

2.1. The fees for CPD training programmes offered by MMALABS are as advertised on the MMALABS website or through official communication channels.

2.2. Payment for CPD training must be made in full prior to the commencement of the programme, unless otherwise agreed upon by MMALABS.

2.3. MMALABS reserves the right to revise the fees for CPD training programmes at any time. However, any fee changes will not affect professionals who have already enrolled in a training programme and paid the applicable fees.

3. Participation and Attendance

3.1. Professionals enrolled in a CPD training programme are expected to actively participate in all scheduled sessions, activities, and assessments.

3.2. MMALABS may offer CPD training programmes in various formats, including but not limited to in-person workshops, online webinars, and self-paced e-learning modules. Professionals are responsible for ensuring that they have access to the necessary technology and resources to participate in the chosen format.

3.3. Professionals must adhere to the attendance requirements specified for each CPD training programme. Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in disqualification from receiving CPD credits or certification.

4. Certification and CPD Credits

4.1. Upon successful completion of a CPD training programme, professionals will be awarded a certificate of attendance or completion, as applicable.

4.2. MMALABS will submit details of professionals who have successfully completed CPD training programmes to the AHP Council for the allocation of CPD credits, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the AHP Council.

4.3. MMALABS does not guarantee the allocation of CPD credits by the AHP Council, as this is subject to the discretion and approval of the Council.

5. Means of Communication and Participant Responsibility

5.1. MMALABS utilizes various means of communication to facilitate effective engagement with participants enrolled in CPD training programmes including electronic emailing, WhatsApp (pages and channels), calls, SMS, via website and social medical pages.

5.2 Participants enrolled are required to provide accurate contact information, including WhatsApp phone number and email address, during registration.

5.3 Participants enrolled are required to actively participate on designated communication platforms and regularly check and respond to communications in a timely manner and follow instructions and procedures required.

5.4 MMALABS shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from participants’ failure to provide accurate contact information or actively engage with communications sent through designated platforms.

5.5 Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their compliance with communication requirements and procedures outlined by MMALABS.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. All materials, including but not limited to course materials, presentations, videos, and assessments, provided as part of CPD training programmes are the intellectual property of MMALABS.

5.2. Professionals enrolled in CPD training programmes are granted limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable rights to use the materials solely for the purpose of participating in the programme. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of the materials is strictly prohibited.

6. Amendments and Modifications

6.1. MMALABS reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes to the Terms will be communicated to professionals via email or through the MMALABS website.

6.2. Continued participation in CPD training programmes following the amendment or modification of these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Governing Law

7.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

By enrolling in a CPD training programme offered by MMALABS, professionals acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
