Job Summery:

At MMALABS, administrative staff are integral to the daily operations at our offices. Duties encompass managing office supplies, overseeing correspondence, and coordinating appointments efficiently. Serving as the primary point of contact for visitors and calls, they adeptly provide assistance and route inquiries appropriately. Additionally, they support basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain meticulous records. In essence, administrative staff at MMALABS play a pivotal role in maintaining organisational efficiency and professionalism

Job Description and Qualities:

Leadership: Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with the mission and values of the facility. Ensures employees’ compliance with the local labour laws and regulations, implicit and explicit instructions, and maintains organisational behaviour and culture. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, staff members, community leaders, and regulatory agencies. Oversee staff members’ hiring, training, and development, create employee performance goals, conduct regular evaluations and appraisals, and provide feedback to help them improve. Manage employee benefits, welfare, payroll, and other human resources functions.

Office Management & Staff Management: Be responsible for general office management duties such as ordering supplies, managing incoming calls, handling correspondence, and maintaining office equipment. Facilitate communication between different departments, including physicians, lab scientists, nurses, and other staff members. Delegate office duties to enhance productivity, all-inclusivity and diversity.

Business Development: Be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing financial resources. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones. Create partnerships with insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and other healthcare providers to expand the reach of the facility’s services. Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for healthcare providers. This includes coordinating patient appointments, managing calendars, and ensuring efficient use of time by all staff members

Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Be responsible for organizing and managing patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations

Support Healthcare Providers: Provide vital support to healthcare providers by assisting with tasks such as preparing documents, transcribing notes, and facilitating communication between different departments within the health facility.

Qualifications:

  1. A HND/Bachelor’s degree/MBA in healthcare administration, healthcare management, business administration, or a related field
  2. Relevant work experience in healthcare management or administration
  3. Strong Leadership skills, communication skills, organizational skills, problem solving skills, financial management, interpersonal skills, technical proficiency and attention to detail.
