The Intern Lab Associate will report to the Lab Manager.
Job Overview
The position is intended for persons with little laboratory or clinical skill and knowledge. Persons occupying this position shall not partake in technical decisions and shall work under strict supervision.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive calls and directed to appropriate office
- Typing and storing of documents as may be instructed.
- Shall contribute to Good Medical Laboratory practice
- Patient Reception control and management
- Contribute Laboratory quality management setup and maintenance.
- Keeping stock of sanitary consumables, purchase and maintain stock.
Qualifications
The minimum qualification shall be a tertially certificate.
Opportunity shall be given to associate to have development course in customer care, safety, store management, phlebotomy and prelab management, which will form the bases for their advancement.
Knowledge Skill and Abilities
- BSc/HND in Biological Sciences
- Readiness to undergo strict training
- Prior Health care experience
- Ability to communicate in English and Twi
- Good interpersonal relationship
