The Lab Scientist will report to Lead Lab. Manager.
Job Overview
The position is intended for entry level Lab Scientists with clinical skill and knowledge in Good Clinical Laboratory Practice. Persons occupying this position partake in technical decisions and shall work under minimal supervision.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Good Medical Laboratory practice
- Laboratory Document development and control management.
- Patient Reception control and management
- Laboratory quality management setup and maintenance.
- Testing and reporting
- Training and supervision
Qualifications
The minimum qualification shall be a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Opportunity shall be given to employee to have development course of interest to specialize in any of the specific responsibilities.
Knowledge Skill and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree Level
- AHPC Licence is mandatory
- Completion of mandatory internship in at least a District level medical laboratory.
- Ability to communicate in English and Twi
